Possible snow next wed?

Is it too early to be squeeing about snow next wed? I just noticed on weather.com that in our area they have listed snow showers next wed! I just hope it sticks. Maybe I can get out of work early that day. If it does call for snow, I'm going to try to finish present shopping sat.
