Traitorous Thoughts pt 2

Lucius reclined back with a glass of firewhiskey in his hand. He was waiting for Severus to help him with the first part of the deal. His thoughts were led astray again by Hermione, wondering when they would actually meet.

"Ahem, Lucius. As I was saying…" Severus spoke trying to get Lucius’ attention. "If you want to defect, you must inform Albus." He replied noticing that Lucius looked a little perplexed. "You do want to defect? Don’t you Lucius? To protect Draco?"

"Yes. I will go to him. But in the morning. My schedule is clear. Now as for Miss Granger…" Lucius’ voice drawled off as he waited for Severus to respond.

"I could possibly inform her. Or you could write her a letter. Or the four of us could go out for one evening." Severus suggested to a surprised Lucius. That way Severus wouldn’t have to worry about Aleysia going out with the two male members of the Golden Trio.

Whatever Severus was planning, Lucius liked it. He liked it a lot! He reclined back in his seat waiting for an explanation.

"Yes, an evening of dinner and dancing with the four of us going. I’ll make the arrangements, unless you want to?" Severus questioned Lucius tilting his head to one side.

"No! I’ll let you handle everything. And I will speak to Albus in the morning." Lucius spoke confidently rising from the chair.

Severus sighed in relief when Lucius left. He knew that Lucius was telling the truth. "But to get him with Miss Granger? I was surprised he didn’t call her a mudblood. Although, she’s a very powerful and intelligent witch." Severus realized that his thoughts were betraying him. And that if he wasn’t going out with Aleysia, he would have asked Hermione out. He reminded himself that he had a good thing going with Aleysia and didn’t want to jeopardize their relationship.

Meanwhile, the boys surprised Aleysia and Hermione by dragging Draco Malfoy along with them. They were hoping to set him up with Hermione.

Hermione sighed as she and Aleysia went to the ladies room to freshen up. "I knew something like this would happen!" Hermione grumbled to Aleysia who had just finished powdering her nose.

She smiled and replied, "You don’t like Draco, dear?"

"Well…I do have a crush on his father. So that would be kind of hard trying to get Lucius’ attention if I am dating his son." Hermione explained to her blushing a bit.

"I’ll see what I can do when I get home. I’m sure I could persuade Severus to have a foursome one night this week. That way you’ll get to know Lucius." Aleysia spoke to Hermione who liked the idea immensely.

"Now how are we going to turn the boys down?" Hermione asked her worriedly.
