Traitorous Thoughts pt 8

After Severus sent Hermione back to her quarters in the infirmary, he walked back to his own. He hoped Aleysia wouldn’t want to take dinner in the Great Hall, knowing how Albus could be meddlesome in his life. He sighed pushing the door to his quarters open to find Aleysia there waiting for him.

He eyed the table she had arranged for their dinner.  She had included all of his favorites and was that strawberries with whipped cream sitting in the desert tray? He looked back at her noticing her mischievous smile.  He grinned and drawled, “I think Albus can miss us for one evening, don’t you think, pet?”

“Who would think about eating when I had ‘you’ on my mind all day!” she practically whispered seductively in his ear, in hopes that he would skip dinner and head straight to dessert!

He pushed her flush to his body and she gasped softly, “This has been going on since this morning dearest.  I know you want to take it slow ever since that night we had to much too drink. Are you going to deny me yet again, Aleysia? I’m a patient man and can wait forever if I have to.” He pleaded softly in her ear.

She looked up in his eyes and saw the love in them. “We…” Before she could finish however, the floo activated startling them both.

“Aleysia Elizabeth Snape!” A woman’s voice sounded angry making them both jump.

“Oh gods, hide me now!” she muttered to Severus who instantaly recognized the voice belonging to one Ileania Snape, Aleysia’s mother.

“Let’s go somewhere fast before she…” Severus started to say as Ileania stepped through.

“You have been avoiding me young lady!” Ileania spoke sharply to her.

“Mother, I’ve been busy. You do remember Severus?” She spoke to her placing her hand on his shoulder.

Ileania eyed him up and down. “Yes I do. You have changed.”

Severus just scowled at the woman who interrupted their evening, only to receive a sharp jab in the side by Aleysia’s elbow. “Well, I do manage to keep in shape. And did Aleysia mentioned that we’re engaged?” he replied back smiling at her as he wrapped his arm around Aleysia’s waist.  He received the reaction he wanted, Ileania’s mouth dropped open in surprise at the announcement.

Albus looked at the pensieve  that Lucius had given him.  He just removed his head from the pensieve thinking, “IF that information is true, then the Dark Lord can be defeated without loosing so many lives.”

“Dear, you need your rest. And Aleysia’s mother is here.” Minerva informed him.

“Ah good, I suppose I should rescue Severus and Aleysia from her.” Albus replied back with a twinkle in his eye.

Meanwhile, Lucius was preparing for bed. He pulled the covers back and climbed in. He propped his head up thinking back on the day events.  “IF all goes as planned, then Hermione will become my wife. I just hope it happens before the Dark Lord attacks.”

Traitorous Thoughts pt 9

Severus was actually glad for once when Albus showed up at his door. He let him in quickly. “Ileania is here and she’s driving Aleysia insane, I fear.” He muttered to Albus.

“What did you say to her?”

“Oh, the usual. Plus that Aleysia and I are engaged. I was going to ask her this weekend as a surprise, but…” his voice trailed off as he tilted his head toward the room where they heard arguing.

“I’ll handle this my, boy. Don’t worry!” Albus reassured Severus as they entered the room.

Ileania stopped immediately when she saw Albus Dumbledore walk in with his arms crossed glaring at her.

Severus quickly grabbed Aleysia’s hand and apparated them out of the dungeons.  He reappeared at his home in Spinner’s End.

“Thank you.” She murmured to him as she snuggled closer to him.

“Let’s get some rest, love. I think we both need a good night sleep.” He murmured in her ear before kissing her on the lips.

Morning came too quickly for Lucius, who rolled on his side hearing pecking at his window. Groaning, he got out of the bed to let the annoying owl in. He took the letter from the owl and gave it a treat.

He read the letter noticing it was from Severus.  “So Aleysia’s mother is in town.” He thought worriedly scanning the letter to see if he missed anything.

He agreed to join Hermione for breakfast at the Three Broomsticks.  Once he arrived, he noticed that she was there already waiting for him, looking slightly nervous.  He smirked. He knew there was a connection between them immediately when they had kissed. “Good morning, Hermione.” He purred at her startling her a bit.

“G-good morning, Lucius. I was surprised you accepted my invitation.” She spoke as she motioned for him to sit down.

“Well, we could have a change in plans this weekend. Aleysia’s mother is in town and I have no desire to run into her. But for Severus’ sake, I guess we need to run interference.” Lucius spoke as he ordered drinks.

“You’re afraid of Aleysia’s mother? Why?” Hermione questioned him as he stiffened a bit.

He wasn’t sure whether or not to tell her that Aleysia’s mother and his father had a brief affair, before Aleysia was born. But the look in her eyes gave him the go ahead to tell her everything.

“You can confide in me, Lucius.” She spoke reassuringly to him touching his hand.

With that he placed a silencing spell around them. “Well, it all began with my father, Abraxas. He was having an affair with her.  I saw them one night in father’s study. He told me after she had left, that the Prince family was well known back then.”

Hermione realized something. “Lucius, could it be possible that you and Aleysia could be related?” she asked the stunned Slytherin who was griping his cane.

“There’s a possibility.  She is seven years younger and father did say he saw her mother for years.  Excuse me, Hermione. There is something I need to check on.”

Lucius spoke as he rose quickly and left her there.

It wasn’t the way he had planned breakfast with her. But she pointed out something that peeked his curiosity.  True he didn’t see a resemblance, but he figured that Ileania put a glamour on her. And he intended to find out if Aleysia Snape was truly his sister.
