Football season begins

I'm not much of a football fan, but my old alma matter, ECU, had its first game today! And they won!  Mom and I well, we just try to avoid the traffic whenever their's a home game.

Good for ECU! ECU stands for what?

Two of my alma maters played against each other today and one trounced the other. USC (Univ. of So. Cal) mauled SJSU (San Jose State Univ.). I guess I couldn't lose - or win. 8-)

East Carolina University! They won 29-24 against Appalachian State University.

I am a college football fan, and I'm glad that ECU won. :)

I WISH my alma mater UGA had fared as well. We LOST to Oklahoma State. *pouts* It was an away game. Next week is the first home game of the season, and I shall be going to Athens, GA to HOPEFULLY see my Dawgs trounce the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Thanks! I think a lot of people here were kind of surprised that ECU won too! The people that I work with talk about the football game. So I find out what time it starts to avoid the traffic!
