sinus problems
Won't go away! Feel so bad right now. And I would like to apologize to my fellow slytherin teammates. About leaving those same poor reviews. If anyone could give me some suggestions on how to leave a decent fanfic review I would be grateful.

I'm ok now. Took a nap most of the day and I had to take a benedryl a while ago.

She's put me on Allegra and Zyrtec before she tried me on clarinex. Both of them made me so sleepy. I think mine must be seasonal. She'll probably up the milligrams on Clarinex for me the next time I go see her.
And thank you for the advise!!!! I'll keep that in mind.

I'm SORRY to hear that your sinuses are bothering you again. :(
As for writing reviews, my advice is to pick out the things (3 or so) that you enjoyed most in the chapter and explain why you liked them so much. Did they bring back an old memory? Were they amusing or touching? Were they just beautifully or lyrically written? Did a particular image in the chapter stand out in your mind's eye? Basically, the more details you can offer to a writer the better I think. Just saying you thought the chapter was good really doesn't tell the writer anything.
Well, that's my two cents worth on how to write a review.

Others have discussed content of writing a review, but I think often a reader just doesn't remember all the things they liked by the time they've finished reading the chapter.
I had that problem so now I have a technique.
I open a word document (actually I keep a copy of each of my reviews under the title of the story on a long document, so I can go back over my previous reviews to remember the story if it takes an author a long time to update).
I have both the word document AND the story open on my screen.
As I read the chapter, I remark on what I'm reading on the word document. When I finish reading, I have my review done, too. Now I have a review to offer that isn't the ubiquitous, "Great chapter. Update soon!"

You poor thing, I know what it's like to have crappy sinuses - no fun at all, especially when it starts to do weird things to your brain. Get well soon, sweetie.

Thanks! Oh I know!
I feel a bit better this afternoon. Hopefully I'll get some sleep tonight. I was up since 3:30 am and woke up every hour. I was surprised I stayed wide awake at work!
