barnes and nobles

I just hope they don't decide to close any barnes and nobles here any time soon.  Without B&N we just don't have a decent bookstore here.

oh no! i hadn't heard anything about this! there are really no decent book stores around here at all except B & N!

on a side note, i was having a conversation with a friend's kid who told me books were so yesterday. she only read stuff electronically. maybe its modernization.

i think it sucks.

I have a B&N down the street, but I rarely go there. They charge full price for paperbacks, which is primarily what I buy. I can get better discounts at Target, which is in the same mall. Target's selection is much smaller, but they usu. have the latest titles at 25% off. What I can't get there, I buy at Amazon used or, if necessary, new. My next purchase is going to be a Kindle so my husband doesn't have to move out of the house to make way for my books. He implores me regularly to get the Kindle immediately LOLOL.

I haven't thought about getting a kindle! I've got a whole bookshelf full of paperback books.
