Job hunting

I have found a permanent job and yet I really don't know how to write a proper cover letter! And also got to redo my resume. That will take up most of my time tonight. *sighs* I really hate doing this but I'm getting tired of doing temporary jobs. Now if I submit everything will they call me? For the past couple of jobs that I've applyied for I didn't get a single call. Just an email saying the position have been filled.  And I was highly disappointed too knowing that I could've done the job.  That's the part I don't like about applying for jobs is the waiting time.

I know! I went to two websites to find examples on how to write one. I was totally confused!
